Character Introduction: Elliot

A police officer from Cokemill with a streak of religious fanatic hidden under his mild exterior. While harmless enough and one of the more principled officers on the force, Elliot can turn horribly psychotic when confronted with heretical/ungodly/devil-inspired beings, such as witches. He full-heartedly believes in the superstition that red hair is the sign of the Devil. You can imagine how pleasantly he reacts when he meets Constance. Still, again, he isn't a bad person, and despite being known among the locals for being a little TOO enthusiastic in all matters pertaining to God, he's well-liked and very kind. He's the sort of person who donates most of his earnings to charity and plays with the local orphans during his off time.

I'm not too sure whether to peg Elliot as a protagonist or an antagonist, but for the first half of his route he certainly is unpleasant. Given that Constance is fairly reasonable, it's something of a sight to see all her attempts at rational conversation to be deflected by him sincerely telling her that he's going to kill her the second he gets the chance. You'll find that in the situation they're in, threatening Constance isn't the smartest thing to do. It's a real pity, because despite being both uneducated and irrational, Elliot's very intelligent and passionate. He just uses it all in the wrong way and causes grief for everyone.
